Weekend Warrior — Direct Support Professional

Saturday & Sunday — various shift times available

Are you passionate about making a difference but need a schedule that works around your week? Our Weekend Warrior position is perfect for you. As a Weekend DSP, you'll provide compassionate, hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities during Saturday and Sunday shifts — giving you the flexibility you need while doing meaningful work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Support community integration and recreational activities on weekends
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging home environment
  • Document daily notes and communicate with the weekday team
  • Build genuine, trusting relationships with the individuals you support
  • Follow individualized support plans and behavioral guidelines

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Prior experience in caregiving or human services a plus (not required)
  • Must be available both Saturday and Sunday

Overnight Direct Support Professional

Overnight shifts — typically 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM

Our Overnight DSPs are the quiet backbone of our residential homes — providing a safe, calm, and supportive presence during the nighttime hours. If you're someone who thrives in a quieter environment and takes pride in ensuring individuals feel secure and cared for through the night, this role is a great fit.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overnight supervision and support in a residential group home setting
  • Respond to any individual needs, health concerns, or emergencies during the night
  • Complete required documentation and shift reports
  • Assist with morning routines as needed at the end of shift
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment
  • Communicate any overnight incidents or observations to the incoming team

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight hours
  • Compassionate, responsible, and trustworthy
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required

Evening DSPs play a vital role in the daily lives of the individuals we serve — supporting them through dinner, community activities, personal care routines, and winding down for the night. If you're energetic, caring, and looking for a rewarding evening role that fits around your daytime commitments, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with evening routines including dinner, hygiene, and bedtime preparation
  • Facilitate community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement
  • Administer medications per individual support plans
  • Assist with household tasks and maintaining a clean living environment
  • Document daily activities and communicate with the team
  • Foster independence and personal growth in daily routines

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Availability for consistent evening shifts
  • Experience in caregiving, education, or human services a plus
