Amber began her career exactly where many great leaders do — on the front lines as a Direct Support Professional. It was there, working side by side with the individuals she cared for, that she developed the deep empathy and hands-on understanding that continues to define her leadership style today. She didn't just learn the work — she lived it.

Driven by a desire to grow and create lasting, systemic change, Amber pursued her Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, equipping herself with the knowledge and tools to build an agency rooted in both compassion and operational excellence. That combination — heart and strategy — is what makes Shore CSI different.

As Director of Services, Amber oversees all aspects of care delivery, staff development, and program quality. She is deeply involved in the day-to-day life of the agency, ensuring that every home, every support plan, and every team member reflects the values Shore CSI was built on. She leads not from a distance, but from within — always accessible, always invested, and always advocating for the people in her care.

Before stepping into the world of intellectual and developmental disabilities, Amber built a meaningful foundation in behavioral health — working as a Behavior Specialist for children with autism. In that role, she provided direct therapeutic support, helping children develop communication, social, and life skills through evidence-based behavioral interventions. That experience gave her a deep understanding of individualized care, the power of consistent support, and the profound impact a skilled, compassionate professional can have on a child's development. It is a chapter of her career that continues to shape the way she leads and the standards she holds for every program Shore CSI offers.

A proud Eastern Shore native, Amber is deeply connected to the community she serves. She understands the unique landscape of rural Maryland — the strengths, the gaps, and the opportunities — and has made it her mission to ensure that individuals on the Eastern Shore have access to the same quality of care and opportunity as anywhere else in the state.

Outside of work, Amber is a devoted wife and mother. She and her husband Doug are raising two energetic and wonderful young boys who keep life full of laughter, adventure, and love. Her family is her anchor — and the joy she finds at home is reflected in the warmth and dedication she brings to Shore CSI every single day.

Before joining Shore Community Services Inc., Cheyenne spent seven years providing direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Those years weren't just experience — they were a foundation. She learned the rhythms of residential care, the importance of consistency, and the profound impact that a truly present and caring support professional can have on someone's daily life.

When Cheyenne joined Shore CSI, she brought that wealth of experience with her and quickly distinguished herself as a natural leader. Her ability to connect with both the individuals she served and the staff she worked alongside made her a standout, and it wasn't long before she stepped into the role of House Manager — a position she embraced with the same energy and heart she had always brought to direct care.

In 2025, as Shore CSI expanded its reach and deepened its commitment to quality services, Cheyenne was promoted to Program Support Specialist. It was a well-earned recognition of everything she had built over the years — her knowledge, her leadership, and her unshakable dedication to person-centered care.

Cheyenne is a proud member of the Eastern Shore community and brings a local perspective and genuine investment to everything she does. She is known for her warmth, her work ethic, and her ability to make every individual and every team member feel seen and supported.

Ebony joined Shore Community Services Inc. in 2024 as a Direct Support Professional — and from the very beginning, it was clear she was someone special. Her natural ability to connect with individuals, her calm and steady presence, and her instinct for person-centered care set her apart almost immediately. She didn't just do the job — she elevated it.

Recognizing her exceptional qualities, Shore CSI promoted Ebony to House Manager, where she took on greater responsibility with the same grace and commitment she had always shown. She led her team with empathy and accountability, creating a home environment that was not only safe and structured but genuinely warm and joyful.

In 2026, Ebony was promoted once again — this time to Program Support Specialist, a role that reflects the full breadth of her expertise and her capacity to lead at a higher level. Her promotion is a reflection of Shore CSI's core belief: that the best leaders are those who have walked the walk, and Ebony has walked it every step of the way.

With more than a decade and a half of caregiving behind her, Ebony brings a perspective that no classroom can fully teach. She understands the challenges, the rewards, and the profound responsibility of this work — and she carries that understanding into every decision she makes as a leader. She is a cornerstone of the Shore CSI team and a true advocate for the individuals and families the agency serves.

Crystal's career has been defined by a commitment to people — both the individuals an organization serves and the teams that make that service possible. She understands that great care doesn't happen by accident; it happens because the right systems, the right people, and the right culture are in place. That understanding is at the core of everything she does in her role at Shore CSI.

As Office Manager and HR Specialist, Crystal oversees the administrative operations of the agency, manages human resources functions, and plays a central role in recruiting and retaining the compassionate staff that Shore CSI depends on. She is often the first point of contact for prospective team members — and her warmth and professionalism set the tone for the entire Shore CSI experience.

Crystal is deeply invested in building a team that reflects the values of the agency: dedication, integrity, compassion, and a genuine love for the people they serve. She takes pride in creating a workplace where staff feel valued, supported, and inspired to do their best work every single day.
